Dr. Vasily Popovich is the General Manager of Projects and Chairman of the Board of Directors for SPIIRAS-HTR&DO Ltd. He has published over 100 research papers, along with several books and manuals, in the areas of computer science, modeling and simulation, object-oriented analysis, programming, and GIS applications. Dr. Jean-Claude Thill is a Knight Distinguished Professor of Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is former Editor-in-Chief of Computers, Environment and Urban Systems and serves on the editorial board of a number of international journals in geography, geographic information science, urban science and regional science. He served as President of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI) and has been elected a Fellow of the RSAI. His research focuses on the spatial organization of socio-economic systems across scales. His recent contributions have involved leveraging spatial data analytics (including GeoComputation) to better grasp urban and regional systems with a finer spatio-temporal granularity. Manfred Schrenk is an Urban Planner running a private consultancy and director of CORP - COmpetence Center of Urban and Regional Planning in Vienna, Austria. He is also a Lecturer at Vienna University of Technology. He has worked in and coordinated various types of research and implementation projects at the national and EU levels, and has organized international conferences with global audiences for over 20 years. Further, he has been involved in the activities of globally active association ISOCARP (International Society of City and Regional Planners).Dr. Christophe Claramunt is a Professor of Computer Science and Deputy Director of the Naval Academy Research Institute, France. He conducts research in the field of Geographical Information Science and its application to environmental, urban and maritime studies. He serves in the editorial boards of several international journal in GIS and is currently the associate editor of the International Journal of Geographical Information Science. He is regurlarly involved in European H2020 projects and he is a research fellow of several universities in China, Japan and Canada.
